In 2018, I had the idea that I should start up a non-profit company dealing with the interaction between Science, Religion and Technology. As I searched for a web site name for the company, I was fascinated with how many other companies and web sites had been set for the same reason, some of them decades ago.
DEBATES BETWEEN SCIENTISTS: BELIEVERS AND ATHEISTS
The number of debates available on You Tube between highly qualified scientists, believers and atheists, is impressive.
UNIFORMITY
To me, there is a uniformity of approach in the debates and literature. It aligns to academic teaching, as well as to organized religion. While it helps to be familiar with the most common arguments, there is redundancy.
A TECHNOLOGICAL GOD
At the heart of the issue is whether God’s power is mystical/magical, or whether it is technological.
